It’s only the second new episode of Kate Plus 8 but Kate Gosselin is already back to her old antics, proving to the world that her parenting skills are as lacking as her skills on the dance floor.
After watching the episode, there were many things Kate did wrong – both as a parent and as a person in general. In addition to bossing the kids around like little slaves Kate also snapped at the man who came to her house to test her water after he made a comment regarding Dancing with the Stars.
The poor man showed up to show Kate how to use the water softener herself and made a little joke to lighten the mood but Kate wasn’t interested. He simply said that learning to work the water softener is “easier than dancing” but Kate quickly quipped “don’t make that comparison.”
But it wasn’t just the “hired help” (as Kate likes to refer to them) that Kate bossed around, obviously it was her kids as well.
Here are just a few of the loving comments the mom-of-eight expressed to her children during last night’s episode:
Everywhere I go, I’m mommy’d to death (in reference to her kids asking her questions. Newsflash Kate, that happens to every parent, you’re just the only one that complains about it THAT much.
“I’m in charge and that’s never gonna change.” Second newsflash, Kate, as soon as your kids turn 18 they will be so far gone that your controlling ways will never touch them again – so in good time, it will change. You can count on that.
“Am I grumpy? Yes. You would be too if you had to run 26 acres alone.” Third newsflash, Kate, complaining that your yard is too big and your house is too extravagant to clean is not going to win you any sympathy awards – not from us and definitely not from the 100-person team you had running around during last night’s episode doing all of the work for you.
If this much can happen in a one-hour episode, just image what Kate is like over the course of a year.
Poor kids, they’re probably counting the days until their 18th birthdays. We sure would be!
