Wow, that lasted long.
Amanda Bynes, 24, gave a huge spiel about a month ago about how she was retiring from acting in order to stay true to herself.
She tweeted to her fans:
“Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it.
“I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first. I’ve retired.”
Some of her fans were disappointed but others respected Amanda for not succumbing to the pressures of Hollywood and trying to be something she’s not.
Those who had any respect for Ms. Bynes have probably lost it by now.
After posting her self-empowering message a few weeks back, Amanda has quickly retracted her statement leaving almost no explanation for her fans:
“I’ve unretired,” Amanda writes on her Twitter this week.
Too bad no one cares anymore.
