After being screened at Comic Con and buzzing around a lot of the Internet, the first official trailer for Thor has been released by Marvel. This highly anticipated movie will be released next summer and promises to be a blockbuster. So enjoy what will only be the beginning of a big build up for this flick.
You may not be aware but all of the previous movies released from Marvel Studios interlock and will help form a story leading up to 2012’s big action team up movie, The Avengers. Next summer’s Captain America (that trailer should be coming soon too) and Thor movies will be the final installment before The Avengers film is released.
Thor falls into place right after Iron Man 2 and during The Hulk movie which begins around the same time IM2 is ending. If you stayed after the credits of IM2 you would have seen Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir (pronounced ‘mee-yoll-ner’, go ahead and impress your kids by pronouncing that right without them telling you) in the ground surrounded by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.
