Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter Shiloh has received much media attention for dressing more like her famous father than her mother, who is often heralded as one of the most beautiful women in the world.
But Angelina insists it’s not her or Brad, but Shiloh herself who dictates what she wears, creating her very own sense of style.
Angelina tells Grazia magazines (via The Huffington Post), “It’s not my choice. I have a very strong-willed four-year-old-girl, who tells me what she wants to wear and I let her be who she is. I think people think kids should be a certain way, but I feel they should wear what they feel like wearing and they should express themselves. Shiloh cried one night and said, ‘Please cut my hair off. I don’t want to have long hair.’ I’m not going to leave it long because somebody thinks I should.”
Previously, Angelina said that she finds Shiloh’s fashion choices, “fascinating” and that her daughter is showing the early signs of becoming a natural performer. “[Shiloh is] hysterically funny, one of the goofiest, most playful people you’ll ever meet.”
The bottom line?
Shiloh’s 4 years old. Let her be.
