The Teen Choice Awards aired last night – and we’ve got the scoop on who took home the most surfboards.
Twilight (not surprisingly) took home almost all of the surfboards they were nominated for, including, Best Liplock (Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart), Male Scene Stealer (Kellan Lutz), Female Scene Stealer (Ashley Greene) and Choice Movie Actor (Taylor Lautner).
Robert Pattinson also snagged himself an award for Choice Movie Actor: Drama for his role in that other non-vampire movie, Remember Me. During his acceptance speech the actor told the crowd that he was pleased to be recognized for something other than Twilight.
Sandra Bullock looked great as she boogied on stage with Betty White, a star that Ellen DeGeneres jokingly accused of being a poor role model for kids today as she accepted her award for Choice Comedian. “Let’s face it” Ellen said on stage, “good role models these days are hard to come by and I don’t want to name names, but… Betty White.”
Predictably Megan Fox walked away with the award for Female Hottie, while Justin Bieber won four awards, including Choice Male Artist.
Katy Perry shared hosting duties with the boys from Glee, changing outfits to reflect various high school cliques throughout the show. However, the pop star admitted that she never actually attended high school herself.
The hosts each shared their ‘Teenage Dreams’ on stage, with Glee’s Chris Colfer saying his dream was, “hosting alone.”
Maybe next year?
