Taylor Lautner Challenged by RV Dealer to Settle Law Suit With Push-Up Competition

By Bridget Tyler on August 31st, 2010

Anyone who has seen one of the “Twilight” films has spent some time contemplating Taylor Lautner’s muscles.  It’s impossible not too, his version of Jacob Black, the wistful teen werewolf in love with his vampire loving best friend Bella, seems to be constitutionally opposed to wearing a shirt. Most of us, however, wouldn’t want to test our own strength in comparison to the notoriously well muscled young actor.  RV dealer Brent McMahon, however, is determined to test exactly what those muscles add up to. He’s challenging Lautner to a push up competition to settle a lawsuit between the two over the completion of a custom RV.

Lautner’s lawyers are suing McMahon for breach of contract because they claim that the custom RV ordered by Lautner was not completed in time for it to be used as a dressing room on the set of the actor’s latest film.  It is not yet clear what modifications Lautner had ordered, though a custom paint job was definitely included.  McMahon maintains that he has done nothing wrong, and he will defend himself vigorously in court if Lautner rejects his challenge.

If Lautner does accept, McMahon says that he will donate the $40,000 that Lautner’s people are seeking from him to the Orange County Children’s Hospital if he loses.  Lautner’s attorney’s declined to comment.

Lautner is currently filming “Abduction” and he will reprise his role as Jacob in the much anticipated, two-part “Twilight” finale.   We can only hope that, should Lautner accept the challenge, someone will record it for YouTube posterity.
