Rascal Flatts guitarist Joe Don Rooney has just become a father for the second time. Roony and his wife Tiffany Fallon added a little girl to their growing family on September 7th. Her name is Raquel Blue, and she and her mother are both said to be happy and healthy. She joins big brother Jagger Don0van Rooney, who was born in May of 2008.
“Tiffany and I are so excited to have brought a brand new baby into the world,” Joe Don reports. “Raquel Blue is so beautiful and we feel so grateful to have this sweet little angel round out our family. Jagger is already an excited big brother; yesterday he gave her kisses and tried to feed her cookies! We feel blessed and are ready for the sleepless nights ahead.”
Raquel is the fourth munchkin born to the band and the stork will be headed Rascal Flatts way again soon – bassist/piano player Jay DeMarcus and his wife Allison will welcome another little girl in January.
Rascal Flatts have six studio albums, almost all of which have gone at least double platinum. Three of their albums are “multi-platinum” certified five times over. The band also has had ten number one singles on the Billboard Country Music Charts. ”What Hurst the Most” was their biggest cross over hit. It topped the charts in both country and Adult Contemporary in 2006 and was a top ten pop hit.
