The celebrity chef tweeted the good news – and a picture of the new addition to his family – shortly after his wife Jools gave birth in a London hospital.
“It’s a baby boy guys !!! I’m shock[ed], we’re all very happy, mum was amazing and both are well and happy x4 kids!! What?!” he wrote, also posting the picture (right) to the popular social networking site.
For now, Jamie’s calling his first born son, Buddy Oliver, though Jools will be responsible for the child’s full name.
Buddy joins sisters Poppy Honey Rosie, Daisy Boo Pamela, and Petal Blossom Rainbow in the bustling Oliver household.
“Now I have to pretend to know about football” the Food Revolution host joked. Though he has previously admitted his desire to have a son, telling UK’s Daily Mail “I’d be lying if I said it wouldn’t be great to have a boy… I’m in a totally estrogen –filled house. But I really don’t mind as long as it’s healthy.”
Jamie first announced the news of his wife’s pregnancy back in April. Congrats!
