Some people just shouldn’t be parents. And some parents need to have their children taken away from them. So is the case of Jessica Gamble, the mother of a two year old toddler who she encouraged to smoke pot.
The shocking video shows the mom (who lives in Springfield Township, Ohio) encouraging the toddler to inhale the smoke while someone else in the home filmed everything on their cell phone. Gamble, 21, was charged with corruption with drugs after the video was sent to the Department of Jobs and Family Services last month.
“It is unbelievable to watch on video a mother teaching her 2-year-old child how to smoke a joint,” Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters told the local NBC affiliate, WLWT. “There are just some people who should never have children.”
Jessica Gamble is set to appear in court on Monday September 20 where she’ll face the consequences of her actions.
If convicted, she could face up to 11 years in jail.
