Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: First Full Trailer (Watch)!

By Bridget Tyler on September 23rd, 2010

The first full trailer for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part One” hit the internet on Wednesday, September 22.  The new spot is packed full of the kind of wild, magical action that we’ve come to expect from director David Yates’ vision of our fav0rite teenage wizard’s world.

“Deathly Hallows” also, not surprisingly for those who know the final book of the “Harry Potter” series, has a definite “all is darkest before the dawn” sort of feeling to it.  This isn’t a happy go lucky sort of movie, our heroes are in serious trouble and they’ll have to put all of the skills they learned over the last seven years at Hogwarts to work if they want to survive.

Yates doesn’t look like he’s pulling any punches in these final installments, so if you have a sensitive younger child, be prepared for the possibility that this might be a tough one for them to sit through.  Harry is all grown up, and so is this movie.  Reading the final novel will probably give you a good sense of what to expect.

My friend showed me this way to get free tickets to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 from Fandango and I wanted to share.  You can do it too! I’m so ready for it to come out! http://harrypotter.oskr.org
