Meet Bella and Edward’s daughter, Renesmee! Young actress Mackenzie Foy has been tapped for the potential break-out role in the upcoming installment of the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn.
In addition to looking totally like she could actually be the love child of Robert Pattinson and real life girlfriend Kristen Stewart, the nine year old (doing the math… no, not possible) reportedly has a slew of commercials under her belt, worked as a GAP Kids model, and appeared on the television shows ‘Til Death and Flash Forward.
The official announcement was made Thursday by Twilight author Stephanie Meyer via Twilight’s official Facebook fan page.
“Very excited about our new Renesmee, Mackenzie Foy,” the author wrote. “She’s an amazing young actress and I’m excited to work with her.”
Breaking Dawn producers have hired Avatar’s Jon Bruno to help with Renesmee’s rapid growth from an infant to a 17-year old, using an aging process similar to that of Brad Pitt’s in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Aside from her natural acting talent, Mackenzie has a purple belt in Taekwondo and enjoys tap, ballet and jazz dance.
