he just debuted her first novel, Elixir, earlier this month but Hilary Duff is already set to begin working on a follow up to the story.
Yesterday the starlet (and budding author) confirmed the news that she’ll pen her next novel soon, tweeting, “Can’t believe so many people have read the book already! Yipeeee! Starting the next one in two weeks.”
The actress-turned singer-turned author is currently on tour promoting ‘Elixir’ but plans to begin work on her second book as soon as her promotional obligations have finished.
So far, Elixir has been receiving positive reviews as a novel for young adults.
MTV describes the book as “’The Time Traveler’s Wife’ starring a much-more-grounded version of Serena van der Woodsen.”
The story follows Clea Raymond, a reluctant tabloid staple turned photo-journalist who strives to uncover the truth about her father’s disappearance, and a mysterious stranger she discovers in all of her photographs.
