Heather Locklear and Bon Jovi’s Richie Sambora’s daughter, Ava Sambora, is joining her parents in the limelight at the tender age of 13. She hit the runway on Sunday, modeling the new collection for her dad’s line, White Trash Beautiful. The tween looked poised beyond her years as she stalked along with the much older models. She also looks just like her famous mom, who she walked the arrivals carpet with.
“My daughter’s beautiful, she’s gregarious, she’s funny, she’s smart. I’m beyond proud,” Sambora gushed to People magazine backstage.
Sunday was Ava’s second show for her dad, she made her debut in March during L.A. Fashion Week. This time she was feeling more confident. ”I’m still nervous — I just know how to hide it,” Ava told People. “It’s like, I really hope I’m not gonna trip, but now I’m a little more comfortable with it.”
She may be learning to keep her cool on a runway, but Ava sounds a lot like any other teenage girl when she starts talking about how much she likes Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber, and how much she looks up to her dad. ”It’s just everything about her-I would really love to act with her,” Ava said of the former “Hannah Montana” star. “She’s like my biggest role model-besides my dad.” When it comes to Bieber, Ava admits: “I met him once at the Grammys and I was, like, about to cry. I love him so much.”
