Michael Jackson’s children, 13 year old Prince, 12 year old Paris and 8 year old Blanket, appeared with their grandmother on Monday’s episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show. They told the famous talk show host that they’re still learning to deal with the death of their beloved father.
Prince and Paris say they are adjusting well to private school, though Blanket is still home-schooled. They children live with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, who has been their guardian since their father’s death in June 2009. Katherine told Oprah in the pre-taped interview that Blanket wants to attend school next year, when he’ll be in fourth grade.
Michael Jackson physician Conrad Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter for allegedly improperly administering the mixture of sedatives that led to the pop-star’s fatal overdose, including the anesthetic propofol, in an attempt to get the chronic insomniac to sleep. Murray has pleaded not guilty.
