If your tween can’t wait for “Breaking Dawn,” and you can’t either, then you’re in luck. Yahoo movies has posted a new collection of stills from the set. These feature everyone’s favorite vampire, Edward Cullen (aka Robert Pattensen) and his new bride, Bella (aka Kristen Stewart) on their honeymoon in Rio De Janerio. In the movie, newlyweds Edward and Bella spend their honeymoon on an island off the coast of Brazil.
It’s clear from these shots that director Bill Condon is hoping to give his young stars a touch more sophistication in their wardrobes, now that they’re meant to be married. Stewart wouldn’t even be recognisable as the awkward, plaid shirt wearing Bella if it wasn’t for the handsome vampire on her arm. The final book of the “Twilight” saga is markedly more adult than the others – Bella getting married, getting pregnant then nearly dying giving birth is a big part of the plot. Rumors and speculation as to how adult the final films will be have been rampant, but producers have assured fans that the film will be PG-13.
Fans will have a long time to wait to see how “Breaking Dawn” turns out. The first half of the two film finale won’t be released until November 18, 2011. Hopefully we’ll get some more glimpses to tide us over for the rest of the year!
