Despite making some serious coin from her reality show and ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ Kate is said to be worrying about her finances – so much so that she’s even considering getting – gasp! – a real job!
“Kate lives like she is a movie star,” a friend of the mother of eight tells Pop Eater’s Rob Shuter. “She flies first class and stays at the most expensive hotels and spends money on herself like it’s going out of fashion. Remember, this is a woman who once spent $7,000 on a haircut!”
The problem is, while Kate keeps living the movie star lifestyle she’s started to get accustomed to, the lucrative endorsement deals she’d hoped would keep her in the lap of luxury have all fallen through.
“Kate was hoping to get paid to endorse a bunch of products,” the friend continued. “She thought she would earn millions by advertising baby carriages, food and clothes, but no one wanted her. The poor thing even thought she would get a deal with Cover Girl after being on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ instead they went with Beyonce.”
Now, with eight children to feed, and the added expense of having an in-home tutor for Collin and Alexis who have been expelled from their Pennsylvania private school, bills are starting to pile up.
“Kate is so worried about her finances that she’s even thinking about getting a real job,” the insider revealed.
