Justin Bieber is one of the most successful teen stars of all time with no signs of slowing down. The pop star is currently in the midst of a 90-show international tour that kicks off in North America before taking the United Kingdom by storm.
And Justin’s determined to show the world that he’s here to stay.
Too often there are pop culture icons that experience a quick rise to fame and then burn out. So Justin’s manager, Scooter Braun, insists that his young client take a look at other artists who would fall into the ‘Where are they now?’ category.
“[Justin] hears all the naysayers about how he’s going to disappear, so he likes to look up people who used to be so-called Justin Biebers before him and didn’t go anywhere. He wants to see why they didn’t go anywhere,” Scooter told MTV. “The general feeling we get is that it had nothing to do with their talent and everything to do with their personal life. Like the kids fall into drugs and destroy their own trajectory.”
Also keeping 16-year old Justin on track? The fact that he travels with his mom!
Scooter revealed: “She feels safer with him living this life because it’s structured, and we know where he is all the time. She feels that if they were still in Stratford, Ontario, he’d be getting himself into a lot of trouble.”
Today the only trouble facing the singing sensation is where to place all of his AMA trophies – Justin swept the awards show Monday night, winning each of the categories he was nominated for, including ‘Artist of the Year.’
