Happy Birthday Taylor Swift!
The country cutie turns 21 today – December 13! But don’t expect her to hit the clubs just because she’s of legal drinking age. Instead Taylor has planned a Christmas themed birthday celebration, “because I love Christmas as much as my birthday,” she told US Weekly. “Combining the two just seems like the perfect festivity.”
Though Taylor admits that “it’ll be cool to get into the 21-and-over places my friends go to,” she’s not really much of a drinker. “My friends drink, but I’ve never felt the need to,” she said.
She does however enjoy a good cup of coffee – and the company of her boyfriend, fellow coffee enthusiast, Jake Gyllenhaal. The pair took a break from their usual coffee bar visits and instead opted for a leisurely drive around Beverly Hills Thursday, ahead of Taylor’s birthday celebrations.
For the most part, the star has remained fairly low-key, spending her last night as a 20-year old with friends.
“They brought a pizza with a lit 21 candle on it and bday hats,” Taylor tweeted, later revealing that she finished her night with a dance party for one. “I’m dancing around my room alone to @Pink’s greatest hits cd.”
