Proud parents, John Travolta and Kelly Preston, are introducing their new born son, Benjamin. Just seven weeks old, John admits that their new bundle of joy has given their house “a renewed spirit and purpose [via PEOPLE].”
“He’s brought us a new beginning,” they added.
The family had spent three years trying for another child, and were “completely blown away” when they discovered Kelly was pregnant last year. Ever since Benjamin was born November 23, 2010, the happy couple has been calling him their little “miracle.”
John held Kelly’s hand during labor, while their 10-year old daughter, Ella Bleu, waited outside the delivery room with close family friend, Kristie Alley.
Excited about her new baby brother, Ella frequently reads the book ‘Good Night, Gorilla,’ to Benjamin, while John reveals that the lullaby ‘A Bushel and a Peck’ is definitely a favorite. But the best moment so far? Both parents agree that it was Benjamin’s first smile.
