Glee’s Chris Colfer took home the Golden Globe award Sunday night for ‘Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture made for Television.’ And, while the actor made sure to thank those who helped him earn his Golden Globe trophy, Chris also dedicated his win to anyone feeling like they don’t fit in.
“I think I just dropped my heart between Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore,” the ‘Glee’ star joked, thanking the show’s cast and crew in addition to Glee’s creator, Ryan Murphy, “for basically being my fairy godfather.”
“But most importantly [a thank you] to all the amazing kids that watch our show,” Chris continued, “and that our show celebrates and are constantly told ‘no’ [by] people and environments and bullies at school, that they can’t be who they are or can’t have what they want because of who they are. Screw that, kids.”
