Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are doing parenthood in style – no “we don’t care what it is, as long as it’s healthy” for these two, they’re having one of each! A rep for the “America’s Got Talent” host confirmed the sexes of the couple’s unborn twins to Access Hollywood.
The pair announced their pregnancy on Access Hollywood as well in an interview with Billy Bush in October 2010. Nick visited Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday to talk about how life as an expectant parent is going.
“She’s been cooking up a storm,” Nick said.
“I didn’t know what it was,” Nick continued. “I thought this was the way she dealt with her cravings. She doesn’t eat. She cooks all this food and her cravings go away and she makes me eat it, so I’m gaining all the weight.”
Apparently, the rumors that President Obama was the first person to know that Mariah was carrying twins (other than Nick, of course) are true.
“That was my wife. She was like, ‘Wouldn’t that be a great story to be able to share with our children — that the first people to know that they were gonna be people was the President and First Lady?’” Nick recounted. “So she told them at the same time.”
Apparently, the President had already guessed that she was carrying twins. ”He’s the President, he knows these things,” Nick said.
