Nadin Khoury, a thirteen year old boy who was bullied and beaten up by a group of teenagers while walking home from his Pennsylvania school last month got a bit surprise this week. Khoury and his family were on the The View on Thursday to talk about bullying. Towards the end of the segment, they were joined by Philadelphia Eagles players DeSean Jackson, Todd Herremans and Jamaal Jackson.
Jackson, the teams star receiver, is the young Eagles fan’s favorite player. Jackson gave the boy a big hug, and the jersey he came on set wearing. Then he let the little boy know that, if he ever needed help, the Eagles have his back. They also gave the family tickets to an Eagles game of their choice next season. Hopefully the visit from his heroes will give Khoury the self esteem boost that is the real thing he needs to navigate the tough, teenage years.
