Toddler/Teen Owner’s Manual Book Giveaway!

By Tiffany on April 27th, 2011

Think Your Kids Should Have Come with an Owner’s Manual? Well Quirk Books is Here to Help!

You have the Choice to win one of two books:

The Toddler Owner’s Manual by Brett Kuhn Ph.D & Joe Borgenicht D.A.D.: At Last! A Beginner’s Guide to Toddler Technology! Just when you’ve mastered your infant’s maintenance routine, he begins to malfunction, refusing fuel, crying inexplicably, and resisting your attempts to clothe him. Through step-by-step instructions and helpful schematic diagrams, The Toddler Owner’s Manual explores hundreds of frequently asked questions: How should I react when my toddler throws a tantrum? How do I train my toddler for self–waste disposal? Whatever your concerns, you’ll find the answers here—courtesy of pediatric psychologist Dr. Brett R. Kuhn and co-author Joe Borgenicht. Together, they provide plenty of useful advice for anyone who wants to learn the basics of toddler care.

The Teen Owner’s Manual by Sarah Jordan with Janie Hillman, MD: At Last! A Comprehensive Guide to Understanding Teens. Hormones. Rebellion. Moodiness. Peer pressure. No parent can be fully prepared for all the challenges associated with adolescence. Fortunately, The Teen Owner’s Manual is here to answer your most pressing questions: How can I teach my teenager to make smart decisions? How do I keep her safe on the Web? How do I get him to communicate? How and when should I talk to her about sex? Whatever your concerns, you’ll find the answers right here—courtesy of parenting author Sarah Jordan and adolescent medicine specialist Dr. Janice Hillman.

This week we’re giving away either The Toddler Owner’s Manual OR The Teen Owner’s Manual to ONE Lucky Kidglue Reader!

I can’t say that the Teen book would be useful to me any time soon, but my toddler seems to have gone haywire recently. I’d love to pick up a copy of the specs (hopefully with a wiring guide and schematic) so I can repair him properly and quickly!
