Let’s face it, if Captain Jack Sparrow lived in your house and spent half his time telling you to clean your room, you wouldn’t be that impressed with him either. Apparently John Christopher Depp III likes the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and his dad’s iconic character in them, okay, but he REALLY gets excited when you bring up his personal idol – Iron Man.
Depp shared this tidbit in an interview with Radio Times. Depp said, “Oh yeah, he’s still into Captain Jack. But at the same time he sees me every day, so he’s super used to Papa.”
Can we stop for a moment and enjoy how adorable it is that Johnny Depp, one of the most famous people on the planet and always high on any list of sexiest human beings alive, refers to himself as “papa?”

It gets cuter. Most kids don’t get to actually meet their favorite comic book action heroes, but John junior isn’t most kids. His idol comes to his house for dinner sometimes.
Depp told Radio Times, “Bob Downey, who is an old friend, comes over to the house for dinner and Jack’s like, ‘Oh my God!’ So then Captain Jack becomes secondary to Iron Man.”
Nice to see that even celebrity children get star struck sometimes!
