Watch this shocking video of a Florida teacher taking swings at her student and connecting with a couple punches. Sandra Hadsock, 64, was teaching her class when a student began calling her names and backed her into a corner. But no charges are being laid out towards the Hadsock because the student was threatening and being physically confrontational. The male student was suspended for his actions and while no legal action is being taken against the teacher, the school board is still looking into internal disciplinary action for violating policy. Hadsock was awarded Teacher of the Year last school year by her students.
Students completely disrespecting teachers to the point where violence is the teachers only recourse. Do you think the teacher was right to resort to hitting her student or did the student deserve it? How would you feel if your child attended a school where not only students physically confronted teachers but teachers also physically confronted students?
Our nation’s educational system is already low compared to other nations and this does nothing to enhance our image. What can be done?
