Natali Germanotta caught the eyes of the web this week when she walked the red carpet at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards (CFDA) with her sister, Lady Gaga (aka Stephanie Germanotta). The nineteen year old is a student at the Parsons design school. She steps out frequently with her older sister, who was at the CFDA’s to pick her style-icon honors from the organization. But for a girl whose big sister is one of the most eye catching, and perhaps most bizarre, celebrities out there, Natali seems pretty normal, at least if Twitter is any indication.
Her Twitter feed is full of comments on college, friends and frozen yogurt dates with her mom. Her profile picture features the teen at the movies with her boyfriend, and her most press worthy posts are all messages of love and support for her famous sister.
The night of Gaga’s infamous entrance to the Grammy’s this year inside a giant egg, Natali wrote: “My little fetus in the egg is gonna kill it tonight,” she tweeted. She later added, “Couldn’t ask for a better person for me to call my sister and best friend,” she wrote. “@ladygaga- stefi, I love you with all my heart an I am so proud of you. X.”
She may get to attend some fun events to support her sibling, but all in all, she seems like a pretty normal kid. And a lucky one. It’s not every grown up who can say their sibling is also they’re best friend!
